I have been linking in to Zoe’s on- line sessions since August. The class lasts 45 minutes and is well-structured, starting with some gentle stretching, building to a more strenuous pace and ending with a short period of quiet relaxation. Zoe provides clear instruction, delivered with quiet authority. I have thoroughly enjoyed these classes and always feel energised yet relaxed when the session ends. If you are interested in practising yoga, whether a beginner or more experienced, Oakland Meadow Yoga is worth checking out.

Set in beautiful countryside surroundings Zoe’s classes are essential for my weekly grounding. The yoga classes are limited to a small number which makes you feel safe and run outside if the weather is good. There are invigorating, stretching and relaxing classes available. I highly recommend it.

Online yoga with Zoe has been perfect for me with a hectic London schedule. All I need to do is roll out my yoga mat and login! Each session Zoe adapts depending on how everyone is feeling so she may focus more on energising one week and balance the next. I always feel uplifted and happy afterwards, ready for the week ahead.

Experience a warm welcome, yoga and a cuppa on our stunning, sustainable farm or from the comfort of your own home. Eggs from free-ranging hens and Dexter beef available. For classes at the farm in at local studios/centres please contact oaklandmeadowyoga@gmail.com. 

Zoe is a YTT 200 hr certified yoga teacher who lives and teaches on Oakland Farm in the Castlereagh Hills. She is known for her earthy energy in class and enjoys making yogic breathwork, postures and meditation accessible. Zoe has a background teaching group fitness, art classes and performing comedic improvisation in Pennsylvania. Having utilized chair yoga in her recovery from illness and taught yoga to different populations across Belfast, Zoe is passionate about simple techniques to bring ease and comfort. 

Class sizes are small to ensure your safety and connection on your yoga journey. Classes are offered at a shorter length (30-60 mins) especially for online classes, to fit into your schedule. Emphasis is placed on feeling grounded with an appropriate level of challenge to improve fitness and mobility, while preparing the body and mind for relaxation. Short and accessible breathwork, meditations and mindfulness techniques are offered to reduce stress, live purposefully, and connect with others and this earth. 

Oakland Farm has stunning views to the Mournes and Strangford Lough. With a commitment to sustainability, Zoe and her family plant a variety of native species trees and flowers, and ethically raise a multitude of traditional Irish breed cattle and much-loved hens.
